The drive device has a double stroke cylinder (1) operated by fluid force. A pre-stroke piston (3) is formed as a casing opened to both cylinder chambers (12,13). The cylinder chambers have two sections (3.1,3.2) with different wall thicknesses and cross-sectional surfaces in axial direction. A power stroke piston (5) has two sections (5.1,5.2) with different cross-sectional surfaces in axial direction. An independent claim is included for a lifting medium for a curved processing machine.
