The device has a flexible shaft connected at an end with a driving assembly i.e. motor drive unit, and at another end with a driven assembly (21b) i.e. transmission. The flexible shaft is displaceable for transmission of an adjusting force into a rotary motion, and a duct (3) sectionally surrounds the flexible shaft. The duct has a fixing sleeve i.e. metal cramp, which cooperates with connecting parts (4, 5) for connection of the duct with the driving assembly or the driven assembly such that the duct is axially held along a rotary axis (D) at the driving assembly or the driven assembly.
