The arrangement (7) has a sensor array (1) detecting light intensity of incident light rays (5) for controlling an air conditioning system (11). Another sensor array (2) detects light intensity of the incident light rays for controlling an illuminating device (12) e.g. headlight. A covering cap (3) covers the arrays, such that the incident light rays detected by the former array or the latter array runs through the covering cap. The covering cap exhibits same optical characteristics on all sides. The former array includes a prism (6) to reduce the light intensity of the incident light rays. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling an air conditioning system and an illuminating device for a vehicle, comprising a controller.
