The device (1) has a pressure source for generating a guest current driving a rotor (2). A nozzle ring (3) surrounds a turbine/compressor wheel (4) and comprises two nozzles (5) directed towards the turbine/compressor wheel. The nozzles are formed such that the nozzles generate gas flow flowing on the turbine/compressor wheel. The nozzles are directed on a radial outer region of rotating blade of the turbine/compressor wheel. The pressure source generates a gas pressure of 6 bars. An annular groove (6) is provided in the nozzle ring and connected with the pressure source and the nozzles.
