The system (10) has devices (20, 30) to be monitored, comprising radio frequency identification (RFID) transponders (21, 31) for transferring respective identification (K1, K2). A central control device (40) comprises an evaluation unit (41) for evaluating the identification of the devices to be monitored. A detection unit (42) of the control device detects reception of the evaluated identification and provides the detection result (E) based on the detected identification. A warning unit (43) of the control device outputs an alert in dependent of the provided detection result.
