The device (100) has a sound-absorbing noise control element (110) made of made of a flexible plastic material and inserted partly into an ear channel. The noise control element contains an alarm transmitting unit (130) e.g. vibration transmitter, that is operated by an electrical voltage supply unit (120) i.e. battery. An alarm function i.e. vibration, of the alarm transmitting unit is releasable by a timer device (140) i.e. crystal-controlled chip, that is adjustable on a predetermined point of time. The plastic material is formed by a foam material, a waxy material and a rubber-like material.
