The table has a longitudinal girder (3) i.e. rectangular hollow pipe, running parallel to a table plate (1) and comprising a connecting element (4). A set of form fit elements is arranged one after another, when viewed in axial direction of the longitudinal girder and is provided at an end of the girder. The elements face the plate on the one side and are turned-away from the plate at another side. The connecting element is formed as two-piece, and radially surrounds the girder. The connecting element comprises a form-fit element adapted to the set of form-fit elements.
