The method involves controlling an internal combustion engine (10) and an electrical machine (20) and/or an element of a torque transmission device i.e. double clutch transmission (12), in each drive train. Individual controller devices (18, 28) are connected by a field bus i.e. Controller area networkbus, with a main control device (30) in which total creep moment to be applied is altogether preset. Individual creep moments are computed in the individual trains. The control devices are controlled by the device (30) for producing computed individual creep moments in the trains. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising independently controllable drive trains.
