The sensor (1) has a sensor element (10) for detecting a magnetic material, and a temperature sensor element (11) for detecting temperature. The elements are arranged in a sensor housing (2) with a multilayered structure, which has a conclusion layer (4) and an embedding layer (5). The elements are enclosed by the embedding layer. The conclusion layer has a spring rigidity, which is smaller than a spring rigidity of housings of the elements. A bias magnet is provided for detection of ferrite material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for setting-up of a giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor (2) a facility device for setting-up of a GMR sensor.
