The double crown (1) has a primary crown (5) fastened to a tooth stump or an abutment (3) of an implant (4). A secondary crown (6) is provided in a dental prosthesis (2) and attached to the primary crown. A distance crown (7) is provided between the primary and the secondary crowns, fixed to the primary and the secondary crowns, or connected with one of the primary and the secondary crowns in a frictional-fit manner. The crowns have the same shape, and are made of a plastic material and formed as conical or cylindrical sleeves. The distance crown comprises a composite adhesive.
