The device has a u-shaped clamp designed such that two edge bars (4) lying at a surface (5) is encompassed by a side piece at another surface (6) that is designed as a sloping unit. A groove type recess runs along the former surface for receiving a tensioning rod. A cylindrical bore hole is provided in a base of the u-shaped clamp, via which the tensioning rod is extended, where the tensioning rod presses the clamp on the edge bars via a screw nut. A distance tube is slid on the tensioning rod to space apart two parallel running formwork panel levels from each other in a fixed distance. INDUSTRIAL STANDARDS - The clamp is made of steel such as a U-steel DIN 1026-S.
