The mill (1) has a drive shaft (44) arranged in a mill housing (20), and a meal pendulum (82) suspended at an upper end of the drive shaft. Two independently formed seal gas systems are provided for supplying gas to the meal pendulum and a passage opening of the drive shaft. One of the seal gas systems comprises the drive shaft that is provided with a gas channel, where inlet port of the gas channel is provided in a lower front surface of the drive shaft. A discharge opening is formed in an upper end surface of the drive shaft.
