The method involves providing zone identifiers (RE1-RE4), operating units (3) and decentral pumps (4) of respective device classes in a master unit (2), where the operating units and the pumps are associated to spatial zones (5). An entry of the zone identifiers is expected at a display and operating unit e.g. laptop. The entry of the identifiers is expected at the operating units and the pumps such that the operating units and the pumps are registered in the master unit after entry of the identifiers. The operating units, the pumps and a bus (1) are controlled by the master unit.
