The method involves integrating a device for generating energy or energy carriers and/or a chemical production device in a greenhouse (13) for producing biomass. The biomass generated in the greenhouse and carbon dioxide quantity generated in the device and/or heat output are retained in a partially closed material and carbon dioxide circuit by the generating device and/or the production device. A static, tower like central element (15) is arranged within the greenhouse for obtaining thermally active air circulation within the greenhouse. Dark inner regions are illuminated by LEDs. An independent claim is also included for a device for conversion of carbon dioxide into carbon and oxygen.
