The method involves determining transmission output of a transmit-compliant communications subscriber (C). A criterion is evaluated, where estimated received power of data (F) at a receiving communication subscriber (A) ensures qualitatively adequate communication of the receiving communication subscriber with an associated transmitting communication subscriber (B), when the criterion is fulfilled. The data is transmitted from the transmit-compliant communication subscriber to an associated communication subscriber (D) via a common communication channel (E), when the criterion is fulfilled. An independent claim is also included for a communication subscriber comprising a transmitting and receiving antenna.
