The instrument i.e. double compensated bugle (1), has a fourfold switching valve (3) i.e. rotary valve (5), comprising a valve housing with circular openings and a roller-shaped valve body. The valve is rotatably supported at the valve housing around a rotation axis of the valve body and comprises two passage channels, for shifting between two tube bends (10-13). The switching valve comprises a trap tube-passage channel with a reduced cross-section surface than the passage channels of the switching valve. The trap tube-passage channel is assigned to a trap tube (2).
