The device (10) has a guide disk (28) mounted around a rotation axis (30) that is parallel to a longitudinal axis of a needle (12) with respect to a guide device (26) in a housing (14). A carrier (24) is engaged into a recess (32) in a center part of the disk. The disk includes a guide groove (34) that holds a radial guide pin (40) of the carrier, and is formed with the recess. The groove is formed running in an axial direction between a first level defining a withdrawal position of the needle, and a second level defining a pricking position of the needle.
