The device has a sensor arrangement including radiation sensors (S11-S52) e.g. radiation diodes, where the arrangement is arranged on or in a rotation plate (2) and rotatably supported around a rotation axis (A). The sensors are arranged on a circle with common radius around the axis, so that the sensors are movable along the circle during rotation of the arrangement. An inner sensor arrangement e.g. energy sensor arrangement, measures energy of an ionizing radiation field. An outer sensor arrangement e.g. alignment sensor arrangement, measures alignment of the radiation field and penumbra. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring ionizing photons radiation and electron radiation.
