The console (10) has larger and smaller receiving compartments (20, 22) lockable by larger and smaller receiving compartment covers (18, 24), respectively. The smaller receiving compartment is provided within the larger receiving compartment cover, such that the smaller receiving compartment is accessible from the top side of the larger receiving compartment cover. The smaller receiving compartment cover is surface-concisely integrated into the larger receiving compartment cover, and is tiltable between an open position and a closing position around an axis of rotation.
