Thiazole compounds (I) and their salts are new. Thiazole compounds of formula (I) and their salts are new. A : phenyl or 5- or 6-membered heteroaryl (both optionally substituted); L 1e.g. NH; Y 1, Y 2S or O; Y 3e.g. S or O; R 1H, 1-4C-alkyl, 1-4C-haloalkyl, 3-6C-cycloalkyl, benzyl or phenyl; R 2H, 1-2C-alkyl, 1-2C-haloalkyl or halo; L 2(C(R 8) 2) p; p : 0-2; R 3e.g. 1-8C-alkyl, 1-2C-haloalkyl, 2-6C-alkenyl, 2-4C-alkynyl, tri(1-2C-alkyl)silyl or 3-10C-cycloalkyl (all optionally substituted); and R 8H, halo, 1-4C-alkyl, 2-4C-alkenyl, 1-4C-alkoxy, 3-6C-cycloalkyl, 1-4C-haloalkyl or phenyl, provided that L 2optionally contains maximum two R 8, that are different of H.
