The chain link (10), for a continuous transport chain at a woodworking machine tool, has a pair of rollers (24) for its running direction under a workpiece support surface (22). A further roller (26) is at a gap from the paired rollers in the running direction. The link has a magnetic material, preferably a permanent magnet, to pass a magnetic flow through it. The transport chain forms an air gap (240) between it and the chain guide (50) through a strap (234) between the paired rollers and the single roller while running, with an inflow and/or outflow surface for the magnetic flow.
