The toy has front and rear parts (1, 101) that are movable with respect to each other between tricycle and pushchair type configurations. The front part has a handlebar (10), a fork (20) equipped with a front wheel (25), and a jaw clutch (40). The jaw clutch is movable between an indexation position, in which the handle bar drives the fork, and a liberation position, in which the handlebar and fork are free in rotation with respect to each other. The jaw clutch is movable between the two positions by mutual displacement of the front and rear parts between the two configurations.
