The element (10) has a central section (26) transversally extended on both sides by left and right side sections (28A, 28B), respectively. The central section has upper and lower walls (22, 24) extended horizontally in a horizontal plane (XOY) to provide an optimal bending resistance along the plane during an impact i.e. direct rear impact, in a determined impact condition. Incipient fracture forming units (30) i.e. ribs, selectively cause deformation of all or part of the element to dissipate maximal quantity of energy, during an impact i.e. oblique side impact, in another condition.
