This installation for automatic production of an album connected with the individual sheets, respectively, intermediate and covering, comprises: for a unit for management of the sheets immediately at the output of a printer or an unstacker; for a scoring unit of said sheets, so as to facilitate their bending and to hold the sheets in their folded form, for a gluing unit (22, 23, 24, 34, 35) intended to be stuck together in pairs at least part of the sheets; for a reversing unit (53, 54) of a part of the cover foil. Said sheets are received and compiled at the level of a receiver tray (55), provided for this purpose of reference, said plate being able to move in translation along a direction substantially parallel to the direction of progression of the sheets in the installation between several positions and in synchronism with, in particular, the gluing unit.
