The assembly has a heat exchanger (3) i.e. charge air cooler, mounted on a support structure (1) via a connection unit (2) to assure vibratory filtering. The heat exchanger has a port (4) that connects a flexible pipe (5) i.e. wave bellows. The port is configured such that the flexible pipe connected on the port is extended along an elongation axis (A). The connection unit possesses a degree of freedom to permit a tilting movement of the heat exchanger around a tilting axis that is orthogonal to the elongation axis.
