Braking noise reducing method for motor vehicle, involves identifying two receivers that are braking noise sources, of each axle system by control unit, and modifying operating points of identified braking noise sources
The method involves detecting braking noise by a control unit, and identifying two receivers that are braking noise sources, of each axle system by the control unit. Operating points of the identified braking noise sources are modified by using the control unit by lowering hydraulic pressures at the level of the braking noise sources. A retarding torque loss is compensated by lowering the pressures in the braking noise sources of one of the axle system and by increasing the pressures of the braking noise sources of the other axle system. An independent claim is also included for a system for reducing braking noise in a motor vehicle.
