The system has an information processing unit for processing information. A display unit (2) displays the information acquired by the processing unit. A marking unit has a selection unit to select portions of insertion zones (25, 32) of a virtual anterior cruciate ligament. The selection is performed by an instruction for the processing unit to calculate and insert the ligament. The ligament extends between parts of the selected zones for permitting to model and display reconstruction characteristics according to the selections and acquired singular points by the display unit.
