The case has U-shaped semi-shells (1, 2) e.g. sheet base and cover, provided with connection units that connect the semi-shells with each other by defining a reception space of a hard disk (100). One of the semi-shells includes an access opening to access a connector (102) of the hard disk, and is made of heat conducting material. Heat exchange unit exchanges heat with outside of the cover, and a mass recovery unit formed of openings (5) cooperates with mass recovery surfaces (101) of a frame of the disk. The exchange unit has other openings (6) forming a ventilation grille in the semi-shells.
