摘要

The method involves receiving a packet of data transmitted by a transmitter node based on receiving frequency. The received packet is processed for detecting a sequence of predetermined data based on processing frequency. A time shift between instants at which the predetermined sequence is received and detected based on the corresponding receiving and processing frequencies, is determined. Beginning of future time interval is determined based on the time shift. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising instructions for performing a method for synchronizing a node of a communication network in a data transmission cycle (2) a storage medium comprising instructions for performing a method for synchronizing a node of a communication network in a data transmission cycle (3) a node to be synchronized in a data transmission cycle for a communication network comprising a receiving unit.
