The device (10) has an input window (24) for inputting X-rays into an X-ray detection chamber (14) i.e. ionization chamber. An output window (26) is arranged at an interface between interior and exterior of the device, so as to permit transmission of the X-rays that are not absorbed in the chamber towards another device (34). The latter device is arranged downstream of the former device in an X-ray circulation direction. The windows are made of beryllium, and are fixed to walls of the chamber using electroconductive epoxy resin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an X-ray beam measuring installation comprising an X-ray beam emitter (2) an X-ray beam measuring method.
