Transfer device for perpetual motion device

A transfer device for transferring an object, for example water or a magnetised container 14 into a column 12 of fluid, for example water, the device comprising a cylinder 36, a piston 32 and a chamber 38 within the cylinder 36. If the object is a liquid it may introduced into the chamber 38 via a valves and a pipe (see Figure 19). Also claimed is an apparatus and method for producing electricity by dropping a magnetised container down a first column which has a solenoid associated with it, using a transfer mechanism for transferring the object into the bottom of a second column which contains a fluid, the magnetised container having a mean density less than the density of the liquid and thus rising to the top of the fluid under buoyancy.
