PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a theater which stores personal items and prevents another person from being seated or using as a place for baggage, and also to provide a seat system for the theater.;SOLUTION: The seat for the theater includes: a storage portion 3 surrounded with side surface walls 7, front wall 8, and back wall 9, raised from a floor 2, and having an opening portion 10 formed in the upper part; a back board 5 extended upward from the back wall; a seat portion 4 having the vicinity of the front end pivotally supported by the front wall, freely inclinable, extended toward the upper part of the front surface wall when raised so as to open the opening portion, horizontal when inclined so as to cover the opening, and positioned in the middle part of the raised position and the horizontal position; an armrest 6 with an IC card reader 13 arranged therein; and a baggage detector 13 for detecting storage of the personal items in the storage portion. When the IC card reader reads an IC seat card 40 for storing the number of a specified seat, the seat portion is freely inclinable only when the number coincides with the seat.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
