PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extending/contracting device for spray boom which has a simple structure and can smoothly be extended or contracted.;SOLUTION: The extending/contracting device for pray boom of a farm work vehicle in which right and left spray booms are disposed on both the right and left sides of a center spray boom is characterized in that: the right and left spray booms are composed of right and left spray frames having prescribed lengths, right and left fixed spray booms attached to the right and left spray frames in the longitudinal directions, and right and left movable spray booms movably attached to the right and left spray frames in the longitudinal directions; chain rails are attached to brackets attached to both the end parts of the right and left spray frames in parallel to the right and left spray frames in stretched states; and the right and left driving sprockets of right and left driving motors attached to the right and left movable spray booms are engaged with the chain rails.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
