PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust explosion test apparatus which can evaluate dust explosibility at high temperature.;SOLUTION: A dust explosion test apparatus 1 comprises: a heat- and pressure-resistant container 10 which is shaped like a vertically-elongated cylinder provided with a gas introduction port 11 at its lower portion and a gas exhaust port 12 at its upper portion; an electrical furnace 20 for heating the heat- and pressure-resistant container 10 to a predetermined temperature; gas supply means 40 which is connected to the gas introduction port 11 with a pipe and which supplies compressed test gas into the heat- and pressure-resistant container 10; an ignition electrode 21 which ignites a dust cloud that consists of test dust and the test gas; and a digital camera 22 for checking the occurrence of dust explosion through an observation hole 17 provided on the heat- and pressure-resistant container 10. In the heat- and pressure-resistant container 10, a support base Z on which the test powder is placed and through which the test gas passes is installed above the gas introduction port 11.
