PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device and a road map display method, allowing a driver to discriminate upper road information from lower road information.;SOLUTION: The navigation device 100 having a multilayer display 98, superimposedly arranging a first display 11 on the near side viewed from an occupant and a second display 12 on the far side, includes an own vehicle position detection means 231; a map data storing means 22 for storing map data acquired beforehand or externally; and a drawing control means 21 for drawing a single road map, by displaying a road having first height information read from the map data storage means in the first display and a road having second height information in the second display, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
