TAPERED SLEEVE AND CARRYING ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape-like sleeve to be integrally rotated with the rotation of a carrying roller reliably propagated thereto, while securing its versatility, and to provide the carrying roller.;SOLUTION: The carrying roller 1 includes a cylindrical body 13, a center shaft 14, and the tapered sleeve 2. The center shaft 14 is journaled rotatably relative to a cylinder 13, and the tapered sleeve 2 is pressed against the cylindrical body 13 in an integrally rotatable manner. The tapered sleeve 2 is arranged with a plurality of sleeve pieces 3a-3c to form a taper serially in the axial direction of the cylindrical body 13. Out of the sleeve pieces 3a-3c, the adjacent sleeve pieces 3 are prevented from being relatively rotated by a preventing means 6. Additionally, come-off preventing members 7 are provided at the ends of the sleeve pieces 3a, 3c, respectively. Thus, the sleeve pieces 3a-3c mounted on the cylindrical body 13 can be integrally rotated without being moved in the axial direction of the cylindrical body 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
