METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULCHING MATERIAL FOR CROP CULTIVATION AND MULCHING MATERIAL PRODUCED THEREBY

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new form of mulching material for crop cultivation which has enhanced strength, a regulable decomposition rate, an enhanced shading rate to control weeds and a soil amelioration effect through pH regulation in addition to basic functions such as heat retention and moisture retention while being environmentally friendly, and the mulching material produced by the method. PSOLUTION: The method includes: forming a natural cotton layer at the upper part of the base material formed of spunlace nonwoven fabric; banding the cotton layer and the base material to form the sheet body; binding methyl cellulose type organic bind-in CMC so that the strength and the decomposition rate of the sheet body can be regulated; coloring the upper part of the sheet body to enhance the shading property and to maintain the weed control effect; and artificially regulating to make alkaline by adding pH regulator.
