PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic response control reinforcing method low in cost and requiring neither a construction period nor a large site.;SOLUTION: The seismic response reinforcing method includes constructing first steel frames 14 parallel with the surface direction of an exterior wall of an apartment house 12 for at least one story part of the house 12 at a time, and at the same time, fixing the at least one story part of the first steel frames 14 sequentially to the exterior wall 13 of the house 12 by fixing means to integrate the first steel frames 14 with the exterior wall 13 of the house 12; and constructing second steel frames 15 projecting from the first steel frames 14 in the out-of-plane direction of the exterior wall 13 of the house 12 for at least one story part of the house 12 at a time, and at the same time, connecting at least one story part of the second steel frames 15 sequentially to the first steel frames 14 while installing seismic response control reinforcing braces 17 absorbing the quake of the house 12, inside the first and second steel frames 14, 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
