PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mass-produce graphite-coated metal nanoparticles in which the precise control of a metallic composition is possible, and which is also provided with oxidization resistance and chemical resistance using a general material by a simple apparatus. PSOLUTION: The graphite-coated metal nanoparticles are produced through: a stage where a solution comprising an anionic metal complex with a metal atom MSB1/SBas a center metal and a solution comprising the metal cations of a metal atom MSB2/SBare mixed so as to precipitate the crystals of a metal complex similar to prussian blue composed of the metal atom MSB1/SBand the metal atom MSB2/SB; a stage where the crystals of the obtained complex and a hydrocarbon compound having ligands are mixed in a solvent so as to be a dispersion, and the solvent is separated from the dispersion so as to obtain the fine particles of the metal complex; and a stage where the fine particles of the metal complex are subjected to reduction firing.
