PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a large-sized resin relief printing plate, which can make a printing area wider by making the width of a connected section narrower, in the resin relief printing plate which is enlarged by connecting a plurality of resin relief printing plates, and to provide a large-sized resin relief printing plate obtained by the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The end edge sections of the resin relief printing plates 1 and 2 which are connected with each other are positioned and stacked at alignment marks 11 and 21 for stack-positioning. Under this state, the stacked parts are simultaneously cut up to down along the side surfaces at specified positions to the alignment marks 11 and 21 for stack-positioning. By this cutting, new side surfaces (cut surfaces) which are formed at a high accuracy and a high efficiency can precisely be butted to each other. As a result, an interval between the side surface and the side surface which are confronted at the connected section can be extremely narrowed to a width of 0.1 to 5.0 mm.
