PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly and highly precisely evaluating the creep life of a Ni-based monocrystalline superalloy.SOLUTION: A method for evaluating the creep life of a Ni-based monocrystalline superalloy includes the steps of: forming a metal structure image containing a raft structure as obtained by an electron microscopic observation of a creep-deformed object to be measured made of a Ni-based monocrystalline superalloy; performing Fourier transform on the metal structure image and forming a Fourier transform image represented by orthogonal coordinates whose horizontal and vertical directions are composed of spatial frequencies; and making a comparison between a spot image of a raft structure formed point-symmetrically with respect to the origin of the orthogonal coordinates and a spot image, obtained in advance, of a raft structure of a known creep-deformed material identical in composition to the object to be measured and evaluating the creep life of the object to be measured.
