PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shot-blasting apparatus capable of uniformly treating a surface of a product to be treated, completely discharging the product after the treatment, and preventing any leakage of projection materials to be projected at high speed into an outer space in which workers are present, and a trough oscillation type shot-blasting method.;SOLUTION: A trough 3 having a U-shaped ship bottom-like shape and having a hole 31 through which projection materials can be passed and any product W to be treated cannot be passed is supported inside a cabinet 1 in an oscillating manner via bearings at both ends. The product W stored in a product distribution box Q is charged in the trough 3 by a bucket loader 9. The trough 3 stores the product W in an oscillating manner, and projects projection materials from a centrifugal projecting device 4 arranged on an upper part.
