PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce errors with respect to actual temperature whatever the transmission path is and reduce costs.;SOLUTION: The temperature detector includes: a temperature detection unit 50 for outputting a voltage corresponding to the temperature detected by a temperature-sensitive diode D (a temperature-sensitive element); a waveform conversion unit 40 for converting it into a PWM signal (a pulse signal) corresponding to the voltage output from the temperature detection unit 50 and outputting it; a temperature acquisition unit 10 for acquiring temperature on the basis of the PWM signal output from the waveform conversion unit 40; an abnormality detection unit 20 which is provided in the transmission path for the PWM signal to detect circuit abnormalities; and variable resistors R5, R6 and a variable capacitor C2 (circuit elements) which change the PWM signal to adjust a temperature detection error on the basis of the relationship between the signal state of the PWM signal and temperature. The circuit elements such as resistors and capacitors used as part of the circuit configuration of the temperature detector can be used, eliminating the need to add new circuit elements.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
