PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect an evaluation indicating a degree of selectivity as a guide route for each narrow street without requiring a driver to manually set for narrow streets point by point.;SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a vehicle behavior detection means 40 for detecting a behavior of a vehicle running in the narrow street R; a storage means 10 having stored patterns corresponding to predetermined behaviors of the vehicle; a behavior comparison means 30 for comparing the behavior of the vehicle detected by the vehicle behavior detection means 40 with the predetermined patterns stored in the storage means 10; and an index value collection means 20 for increasing a cost C which is an index value indicating the degree of selectivity of the narrow street R as the guide route for navigation, when the behavior of the vehicle matches the predetermined patterns as a result of comparison by the behavior comparison means 30, and for collecting the cost C for each narrow street R by maintaining the cost C without increasing or decreasing the cost C, when the behavior of the vehicle does not match the predetermined patterns as a result of comparison.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
