PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of surveying crack depth in a concrete structure by an ultrasonic method capable of determining desired installation positions of ultrasonic transmitting/receiving pendulums for improving the survey accuracy.;SOLUTION: Regarding a plurality of groups (T_n, R_n) of distance T_n from the transmitting pendulum to a crack and distance R_n from the receiving pendulum to the crack while distances are different from each other, the ultrasonic propagation time t_cn in a flaw detection section and the ultrasonic propagation time t_on in a sound section are determined every group. The group where the ultrasonic transmitting/receiving pendulums lie at the optimum installation positions is determined by a specific expression, of the plurality of determined groups (T_n, R_n, t_cn, t_on), and the crack depth (d) in the concrete structure is estimated based on the value (T, R, t_c, t_o) of the determined group.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
