PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding jig for a small-sized component that can hold even a small-sized component of a different size in a desired holding posture for a long period of time, facilitates the insertion and extraction of the small-sized component in/from a holding hole, and the fine adjustment and correction of the holding posture, and improves the handling of the small-sized component; and a handling method for the small-sized component that can quickly insert and extract even the small-sized component of the different size in/from the holding hole substantially without damaging the holding hole, and hold the small-sized component in the desired holding posture.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the holding jig for the small-sized component including an elastic member in which a holding hole having two sets of inner walls extending along an axis and two sets of projections protruding along the axis to have single tapered shapes from inner walls in a horizontal direction with respect to the axis is formed, and which has an elongation of 200 to 1,000% at a cut time; and the handling method for the small-sized component including a process of holding the small-sized component in contact with rear parts of the projections and not in contact with front parts, and inserting the small-sized component into the holding hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
