PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of migrating assets between certificate authority devices having different configurations in certificate authority repository.;SOLUTION: In a method for migrating the certificate authority device, first, a destination certificate authority device reads and analyzes a certificate authority certificate and an end entity certificate issued by a source certificate authority device to create certificate authority issuance information. Further, the destination certificate authority device reads and analyzes a list of latest and expired certificates issued by the source certificate authority device, and adds expiration information to the certificate authority issuance information. The source certificate authority device and the destination certificate authority device issue a certificate in which the name of an issuer and the name of an issued person are the same, and which is identified with a link certification as a mutual authentication certificate, to migrate the certificate authority device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
