PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact temperature sensor capable of practically nullifying the effect of environmental temperature change against a non-contact temperature sensor and provide an infrared clinical thermometer capable of temperature measurement at a position approaching closer to a measuring object by installing the non-contact temperature sensor at the tip end of a probe. SOLUTION: The present non-contact temperature sensor is invented by considering a characteristic that the output voltage of a thermopile becomes always 0 when the temperatures of a thermopile and a measuring object are identical. It has a thermopile for measuring the relative temperature to the measuring object, a thermistor for measuring the temperature of the thermopile and a heating/cooling element for heating or cooling the temperature of the thermopile so as to zero the output of the thermopile. Also the infrared clinical thermometer is provided with a control measurement circuit for controlling the heating or cooling of the heating/cooling element, measuring and indicating the detection temperature of the thermistor at the time of 0 output of the thermopile.
