PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer supported gold cluster catalyst of which the supporting amount is large and which is active for oxygen oxidation reaction, and to provide a manufacturing method of a carbonyl compound using the same.;SOLUTION: The polymer supported gold cluster catalyst for oxidation reaction which has a gold nano-size cluster supported on carbon and a styrene type polymer, is characterized in that the styrene type polymer uses styrene monomer as a base monomer, has a hydrophilic side chain which has a crosslinking functional group on the main chain or benzene ring and is a high polymer molecule which has an epoxy group or hydroxy group as the crosslinking functional group. It is further characterized by being prepared by crosslinking the epoxy group and the hydroxy group of the styrene type polymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
