PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer supported gold cluster catalyst of which the supporting amount is large and which is active for oxygen oxidation reaction, and to provide a manufacturing method of a carbonyl compound using the same.;SOLUTION: The polymer supported gold cluster catalyst for oxidation reaction which has a gold nano-size cluster supported on carbon and a styrene type polymer, is characterized in that the styrene type polymer uses styrene monomer as a base monomer, has a hydrophilic side chain which has a crosslinking functional group on the main chain or benzene ring and is a high polymer molecule which has an epoxy group or hydroxy group as the crosslinking functional group.
