PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mechanization in construction of a watchman's passage against a tunnel side wall and a water channel for road surface drainage and also in laying the road surface in an automobile tunnel while, by devising a shape of the water channel for road water surface drainage, a foundation of the tunnel is improved, a depth excavated for the tunnel is reduced and thus the period for construction of all including the watchman's passage and the inner ancillary facilities is shortened, so that the construction cost is largely reduced.;SOLUTION: In the automobile tunnel 1 having an automobile road surface 3a, a road water drainage channel on its side and a watchman's passage 4 against the tunnel side wall, the tunnel structure is composed as follows. A horizontal width in a shorter direction of a water channel block 5 of a rectangular water channel 5a is wider than a horizontal width in a shorter direction of a water channel 7 of a circular water channel 7a having the same water flow. Furthermore, a plurality of the water channel blocks 5 are provided adjacent to the watchman's passage 4 against the tunnel side wall while a side wall 5c of the water channel block 5 integrally extend upward from an upper surface wall 5b so as to form a vertical wall 4a of the watchman's passage 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
